Duties and Responsibilities for Filler Operator
- Inspect finished product as often as needed to ensure it is packaged according to our specifications
- Make adjustments as needed to your run to ensure a smooth run and treat the cooler as your customer
- If malfunctions take place and quality standards or specifications are not met, notify your supervisor immediately
- Taste product and check temperature to verify that our quality standards are met
- Replenish packaging supplies as needed
- Place boxes of cartons on conveyor and place on fillers
- Communicate with other filler operators and the pasteurizer
- Rinse and disassemble filler every night and then hook it up for CIP
- Conveyors, casers, drip pans and stackers will be cleaned each day after production
- Post filler production into NAV using tablet
- Follow sanitation procedures for filler washes
- Prep and wash Pasteurized silos.
- Clean case conveyor system.
- Clean parts in COP tank.
- Pull wash samples, sanitizer samples as needed
- Clean and sanitize all tools, pumps, and pipes that were used during production
- Assist paper filler operators daily to insure that the fillers are as productive as possible
- Prep, wash and sanitize silos
- Operate, wash, and reassemble all fillers
- Make bails of cardboard and plastic
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays

- Ability to work at a fast pace in subzero environment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work with heavy tools and equipment.
