IT Support Technician – Part-Time - Hiring Immediately! Pay: $DOE Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00AM – 12:00PM - on call duties may be required Start Date: ASAPWe are seeking an IT Support Technician for a part-time position with our client, a local organization in need of technical support for their computer systems, mobile devices, and hardware.
The IT Support Technician will play an essential role in maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of devices including desktop computers, printers, iPads, and other technology. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to support a dynamic team and gain hands-on experience in a professional IT setting.As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for:
Education and Experience Required: • Bachelor’s degree or enrollment in upper division post-secondary education relating to Information Systems.
• Desire to become an enterprise technologist by working with and learning from technology and security mentors within the enterprise. • Clear, concise and precise written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with people of various backgrounds including non-technical audiences. • Superior customer service orientation, excellent analytical and interpersonal skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills: • Previous enterprise IT Team experience. • Certifications in any of the following are a plus: Service Desk (CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365, etc.), ITIL. • End user computing devices including Windows, Android and iOS. • Experience in Level 1 and/or Level 2 user support (RemedyForce or similar ITSM tool). • Networking including Routing and Switching (Cisco, Meraki) and Wireless technologies. • Cloud technologies (Public, Private, Dedicated, Hybrid). • Understanding of ITIL best practices processes such as Incident, Asset, Change and Problem managementBenefits:
