Pay: $18- $22.67/hr Hours: Monday - Friday 7a - 4p  w/paid 30 min lunch  Start Date: 3/31/25 We are seeking a Safety Admin Assistant for a Full Time position for our client, a local leading manufacturer of abrasive blast media, foundry products, roofing materials and specialty aggregates is currently seeking a new Safety Admin Assistant to join their HR department. located in Riddle, Oregon  Admin Safety Assistant  is a Full Time position located in Riddle Oregon  

As an Safety Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • The Administrative Assistant position is responsible for supporting the department by ensuring all assigned data entry tasks are completed timely and accurately, personnel and safety tracking data is managed, environmental reporting requirements are fulfilled, and filing.
  • Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks
  • Monitors compliance with safety procedures
  • Maintain Safety Audit Action Log
  • Assist with maintaining the Safety Training Program
  • Maintain Environmental compliance and regulations
  • Filing confidentiality documents
  • Maintains the professional standard of the office
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by management

The ideal candidate for this role will have: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with the ability to be added to Company’s insurance policy
  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1 year experience in office setting
  • At least 1 year environmental or safety management level experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred, but not required.
  • All employees are expected to work together, as a team, to provide a safe work environment while striving to maximize production and provide the best quality finished product possible.
  • Each employee is expected to help other team members when primary duties have been completed. Employees may be required to perform other duties or work on special projects when assigned by their supervisor or management representative in the absence of their supervisor.
  • Each employee is expected to present a professional demeanor at all times with customers as well as co-workers.
