Senior Application Architect

Responsibilities:
  • Architect end-to-end enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure, focusing on multi-tenant SaaS platforms.

  • Lead cross-functional development teams, providing technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout the SDLC.

  • Design microservices-based solutions with deep knowledge of containerization using Kubernetes / AKS, service mesh (e.g., Istio), and advanced networking (ingress/egress, sidecars).

  • Develop domain-driven design (DDD) blueprints, application archetypes, and reusable patterns.

  • Define and enforce architectural standards, principles, and best practices tailored to the financial services landscape.

  • Review and analyze existing systems and codebases, determining reuse potential and modernization opportunities.

Requirements:
  • AZ-305 Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification (must include Microsoft certification logo in profile/resume).
  • 10+ years of experience in application architecture, with a strong focus on .NET/C# and Azure PaaS services.
  • Proven experience as a lead solution architect in large enterprises such as Fiserv, preferably in banking or fintech.
  • Deep expertise in designing and delivering multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Azure services, including App Services, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure AD, and Service Bus.
  • Proficient in modern DevOps practices and familiarity with monorepo environments.
  • Experience analyzing legacy/digital banking architectures to build modern AML platforms is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with:
    • Domain-driven design (DDD
    • Microservices architecture at scale
    • Event-driven and serverless patterns on Azure
    • API gateway and identity management solutions
