IDR is seeking a Workday HCM - Payroll Lead to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves leading payroll processes using Workday HCM in a dynamic environment, supporting a higher education and government client, and assisting in system configuration, testing, and rollout activities. The position offers the chance to work on critical payroll projects and collaborate with a skilled team to ensure smooth payroll operations.
Position Overview for the Workday HCM - Payroll Lead
- Leading the design, configuration, and delivery of the Workday Payroll workstream for a client in the higher education and government sector.
- Providing functional expertise on Payroll, demonstrating software features, and documenting requirements and design decisions.
- Supporting testing phases, preparing end-to-end testing scenarios, and planning payroll compare activities.
- Managing payroll support team members and coordinating communication with the client on project progress and next steps.
- Contributing to the cutover plan and ensuring successful software implementation.
Requirements for the Workday HCM - Payroll Lead:
- Must have a valid Workday Payroll Certification.
- Proven experience leading payroll projects within Workday HCM.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes in higher education or government environments.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
- Ability to coordinate and perform detailed testing, documentation, and client engagement activities.
