IDR is seeking a QA/Test Engineer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role supports a state government project focused on data pipelines and analytics, offering a chance to work on a new and impactful initiative that involves data validation and dashboard testing. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to ensure data accuracy and reporting quality.
Position Overview for the QA/Test Engineer:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data pipelines and Tableau dashboards.
- Review user stories and acceptance criteria to develop comprehensive testing strategies.
- Validate dashboard functionality, data accuracy, and KPI calculations.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, and BI Engineers throughout Agile sprints.
Requirements for the QA/Test Engineer:
- 5+ years experience as a QA/Test Engineer supporting data or analytics projects.
- Experience testing Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Familiarity with Databricks and modern data platforms.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Previous experience supporting large-scale modernization or government projects.
