IDR is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves acting as a liaison between various business units, technology teams, and vendors to optimize and enhance business systems within a dynamic industry. The position offers a chance to work remotely, collaborating with stakeholders to implement effective solutions that align with organizational goals.
Position Overview for the Business Systems Analyst:
- Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and technology teams to understand and document requirements, workflows, and objectives.
- Conduct analysis of existing systems and processes to identify improvements, map current and future states, and perform gap analyses.
- Support technical teams in translating business needs into system designs, ensuring documentation is clear, maintainable, and appropriately scaled.
- Manage small projects end-to-end, including task documentation, due date management, and providing regular progress updates.
- Assist stakeholders in testing system changes, defining test cases, and ensuring solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
Requirements for the Business Systems Analyst:
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst with a solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in business process modeling and documentation.
- Experience in project management, multitasking, and adapting to shifting priorities.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and ITSM processes; healthcare industry experience and familiarity with Workday HRIS and Financials are preferred.
