IDR is seeking a MMIS/PBM SME to support a Medicaid project for a client of ours in New York. The position is remote but will require occasional travel to client site (all expensed) The role will focus on design, evaluation, and development related to pharmacy modules within Medicaid systems. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience working on Medicaid pharmacy modules across different states and can contribute to an ongoing MMIS enhancement effort.
Position Overview/Responsibilities for the MMIS/PBM Consultant:

Participate in the design, assessment, and configuration of Medicaid pharmacy modules.

Work closely with business and technical teams to define requirements and ensure adherence to CMS and state regulations.

Assist with integration, testing, and validation of pharmacy functionality within MMIS.

Develop and maintain documentation on processes, requirements, and system impacts.

Serve as a subject matter expert on Medicaid pharmacy module operations and best practices.
Required Skills for MMIS/PBM Consultant:

5+ years of experience as an MMIS/PBM Functional Analyst or related role.

Hands-on experience working on Medicaid pharmacy modules (multi-state experience preferred).

Strong knowledge of Medicaid policies and pharmacy-related program operations.

Familiarity with module design, evaluation, and certification processes.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
