Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Release Train Engineer:
- Serve as a leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART)
- Coordinate and align ART activities with program goals
- Implement and monitor progress of Program Increment (PI) Planning
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks on large projects
- Prepare financial updates, analysis, and forecasts for assigned projects/programs
- Mentor fellow team members and accelerate business adoption through effective change enablement practices
- Provide strategic vision and direction for projects/programs
Required Skills for Release Train Engineer:
- Extensive Agile/SAFe experience; certifications are highly desirable
- Experience with Program Increment (PI) planning
- Experience in finance-related projects
- Exposure to programming/software development, particularly Java
- Exceptional communication skills and strong customer and vendor management experience
- Strong scope and change management skills
