Product Owner 

IDR is seeking a Product Owner to join one of our top clients in Dallas, TX. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Product Owner:

  • Act as Scrum Master & Release Manager, leading daily standups, sprint ceremonies, retrospectives, and CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings.

  • Collaborate with engineers, QA, and field operations to define and document requirements, user stories, and QA test cases.

  • Monitor support ticket trends and turn recurring issues into product improvement initiatives.

  • Participate in release management activities and ensure smooth deployments.

  • Support incident management efforts, including occasional nights/weekends for Sev1/Sev2 issues (with OT pay for hours over 40).

  • Partner with senior business stakeholders (Sr. Directors and VPs) and technical teams to ensure alignment and smooth communication.

  • Stay current on POS and restaurant technology trends to help shape product strategy.

Required Skills for Product Owner:

  • 1+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Business Analyst / Scrum Master in enterprise systems.

  • 3+ years Hands-on POS & Payment systems experience (Micros Simphony highly preferred, NCR, Olo, Toast, or other enterprise POS accepted).

  • Experience in the restaurant, retail, or hospitality technology space.

  • Strong Agile experience with proven ability to run team ceremonies.
  • Hands-on experience writing QA test cases, requirements, and documentation.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with comfort presenting to senior leadership.

  • Flexibility to support critical incidents after hours when needed.
