Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Network Security Advisor I:Oversee the security of traffic signal and intersection systems across the city.
Implement and manage firewalls (Check Point preferred, Palo Alto experience transferable).
Ensure remote access security and a strong networking foundation.
Analyze and engineer solutions for traffic security, ensuring safe and efficient system operations.
Collaborate with teams to assess risk and optimize network infrastructure.
Work with Metro’s existing security framework to protect critical infrastructure.
Support the development and implementation of intelligent traffic system security measures.
Senior-level experience in network security, with a strong background in firewalls and remote access.
Hands-on experience with intelligent traffic system design and security preferred.
Extensive knowledge of Cisco networking equipment and protocols.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks and engineer security solutions.
