The Maintenance Mechanic collaborates with Quality, Packaging, and Manufacturing departments to resolve production issues and ensure smooth operations.   • Collaborate with Quality, Packaging, and Manufacturing departments on production issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on process equipment and instruments.
  • Support validation activities (FATs, IQs, OQs, PQs).
  • Complete and enter calibration and maintenance data into the CMMS system.
  • Troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment and support systems.
  • Assist with facility repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Report inventory counts of parts, supplies, and tools to supervisors and buyers.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors/managers on department activities.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area in compliance with GMP requirements.
  • Train other Maintenance Mechanics according to supervisor guidelines.
  • Manage continuous improvement projects, 5S, and equipment reliability initiatives.
  • Write and edit procedures as needed.
  • Own and manage DCRs, MOCs, and deviations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Experience with compressors, chillers, pumps, conveyors, mixers, fillers, and packaging equipment.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and repairs on automated equipment (PLC, VFD, I/O systems, servo motors, HMI).
  • Preferred: PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with low voltage DC control circuits.
  • Experience with 120, 208, 240, 277, and 480 ACV circuits.
  • 5S experience is highly valued.
  • Six Sigma belt is a plus.
  • Project management experience.
  • Preferred: RO water purification systems experience.
  • Preferred: HVAC and air handler experience.
  • Experience with CMMS software.
