Helpmates is looking for an Electrical Installer lead. The Production Electrical Lead oversees repetitive installation tasks like wire harnesses, cables, control modules, crimping, and wire identification. They support mass installations in aircraft components such as galleys, closets, overhead bins, and sidewalls. The role involves supervising, teaching, guiding, and assisting coworkers in fabricating parts and assemblies. Additionally, the Lead must navigate the PLM system, read blueprints, and communicate engineering changes to the team. Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm  Pay Rate: $26 - $30 DOE Temp-to-hire  Job Duties: 
  • Promote cooperation, positive communication, and teamwork among coworkers.
  • Read and use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to install or rework electrical components.
  • Mentor and develop team members professionally.
  • Organize production employees for tasks like torquing, bonding, riveting, and edge sealing.
  • Encourage improvements in safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.
  • Create and ensure adherence to daily standard work procedures.
  • Lead daily meetings to review previous day's performance and plan for the day.
  • Foster a continuous improvement mindset and promote new ideas from the team.
  • Ensure team members are capable of meeting production schedule demands.
  • Communicate production line issues to engineering, planning, or quality departments.
  • Ensure timely completion of work to meet company objectives and customer demands.
  • Maintain safe use of tools and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
  • Understand and manage work orders and traceability requirements.
  • Report defects to quality assurance or supervisors as needed.
  • Ensure products meet the latest engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance to address and solve repetitive quality issues.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Experience  1 - 3 years of experience  Other Must be willing to work extended hours/or irregular hours may be required #HSCE
