Unfortunately Melanie was not able to proceed because I had interviewed with the company for a different position almost a year ago. I found this to be strange but applied independently.
My experience with Kurt was positive for the most part. He was very helpful through the process and very good about checking in with me along the way. Unfortunately, the company decided to rescind the job offer on the same day that I was supposed to start work. Kurt and I both agreed that the decision to rescind the offer wasn't entirely fair and that it was a disputable issue. He told me he was going to file a dispute on his end and would try to reach out to the company. That was the last time I spoke with him. I don't know what happened with his dispute, and I felt ghosted after that.
