Pharmacy Technician HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacy Technician to fill an opening with a Specialty Pharmacy company in Overland Park, KS. You may live in Missouri, but must have a Kansas license. Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacy Technician:

• Performs data entry, record keeping and adjudicate claims
• Packaging and other tasks related to the fulfillment and dispensing of prescriptions
•  Provides telephonic customer support (inbound and outbound calls)
•  Contacts physicians for refill authorizations
• Collects pertinent patient information
•  Assists Pharmacist in the maintenance of procedures and records in compliance with state and federal laws

Required Qualifications for Pharmacy Technician:

• Ability to work onsite Overland Park, KS 66207
• Ability to work M-F 8AM-4:30PM
• High School Diploma or GED
• Registered as a pharmacy technician with the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy
• 2-4 years of recent experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or Specialty pharmacy

Daily Responsibilities for the Sonographer:

• Performs a wide range of ultrasound exams (OB/GYN, abdominal, neonatal, vascular, carotid, arterial/venous, grafts) and procedures such as thyroid biopsies; follows safety standards, provides quality patient care, and uses RIS/PACS and communication systems effectively.
