  • Active and unrestricted license in Oregon (NP or PA)
  • NP: Graduate of an accredited Master of Science Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice program
  • NP: Board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or the American Nurses Credentialing Center, with certification in one of the following:
  • Family Nurse Practitioner Adult Nurse Practitioner Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
  • Current, active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority
  • Ability to complete physical requirements of the job including lifting a 30-pound bag in and out of the car, navigating stairs and a variety of dwelling conditions, and sit, stand, and kneel to perform physical assessment
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to gain a collaborative practice agreement, if applicable in your state

Preferred Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant:

  • Understanding of Geriatrics and Chronic Illness
  • Understanding of Advanced Illness and end of life discussions
  • Proficient computer skills including the ability to document medical information with written and electronic medical records

  • Using Walgreens prescription data entry procedures and guidelines, processes new patient registration by entering data into appropriate system. 
  • Handles patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enters refill orders for processing. 
  • Troubleshoots to obtain missing prescription information, and interprets medical abbreviations (SIG codes). 
  • Resolves all data entry related exceptions. 
  • Run automated machinery, sort medications, transition inventory through different workflow stages with a focus on quality control. 
  • Count and fill prescriptions, affix labels, pack and ship. 
  • Clean and help maintain machinery and maintain an orderly work area. 
  • Resolves Third Party Rejects by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. 
  • Provides assistance to Pharmacists, both those in the facility and those at other locations. 
  • Identifies and communicates issues to senior level staff as appropriate. 
Physical Requirement: Willing and able to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation. This position can be fast pace at times and require contractors to be on their feet throughout the day Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic computer skills, typing speed of 35 WPM
  • Pharmacy tech license  **Open to accepting trainee with a min of 1 year remaining on their license.**
