Pharmacy Technician
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a
Pharmacy Technician to fill an opening in
Northlake, Texas.
Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacy Technician:
- Using Walgreens prescription data entry procedures and guidelines, processes new patient registration by entering data into appropriate system. Handles patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enters refill orders for processing.
- Troubleshoots to obtain missing prescription information, and interprets medical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolves all data entry related exceptions.
- Run automated machinery, sort medications, transition inventory through different workflow stages with a focus on quality control.

- (3 positions) Sun, Wed-Fri, 4am-2pm (will change to 5am to 3pm on 5/28/26)
- (2 positions) Sun-Tue, Fri, 2:30pm-12:30am (will change to 3:30pm-1:30am on 5/28)
- (2 positions) Sun-Wed, 2:30pm-12:30am (will change to 3:30pm-1:30am on 5/28)
- (3 positions) Sun-Thu, 10:00pm-6:00am
Required Qualifications for Pharmacy Technician:
- Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Good standing active TN Pharmacist license
- Ability to work effectively with minimal direction and as part of interdisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications for Pharmacy Technician:
- PTCB or ExCPT certification
- At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail, fulfillment or call center environment

Pay Details: $20 to $21.6/Hour
