Nurse Practitioner - Clinical Research Opportunity!

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our thriving Clinical Research company in Sarasota, FL. • Typically see 5 patients a day, at most ten on the busiest day!
•  Documentation, notes, dictation from doctors, in the drug development unit, early phase research
  • Sub investigator position, see all the patients along with our easy going and great to work with MD!

• Assists physician in the care, management and education of and with patients who are participating in clinical trials
• Assess the physical and psychosocial status of patients by means of interview, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic studies
• Write prescriptions for: medication, blood products based upon laboratory results, routine diagnostic and follow-up studies, therapeutic measures, and care post-discharge in accordance with written practice protocols

Required Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner - Clinical Research:

• Valid and clear NP license in the state of Florida
• Prescriptive privileges or eligible to apply
• Oncology, chemotherapy OR clinical research experience

Inpatient Facility Medical Coder Opportunities! HealthCare Support is actively seeking MULTIPLE Inpatient Facility Medical Coders to join a thriving company that is FULLY REMOTE (*MUST reside in Washington or Oregon*) Daily Responsibilities for Inpatient Facility Medical Coder:

• Identify and assign appropriate codes for diagnoses, procedures and other services rendered, while also validating any Computer Assisted Coded (CAC) assignments for dual coding. Utilizing the Code Base Charge Trigger system (CBCT) and OPTUM 360 EncoderPRO software system for professional surgical services, analyzing and maintaining systems accuracy, validity and meaningfulness for both professional and facility services.
• Utilizes electronic patient data system and clinical information system (EpicCare) to access patient encounter information.
• Abstracts and enters clinical data elements as defined by the needs of the organization. Identifies and assigns principal diagnosis and procedure codes, sequencing them as needed for proper Ambulatory Payment Classification (APC), Medicare Severity-Drug Related Group (MS-DRG), All Patients Refined Diagnosis Related Groups (APR-DRG) assignment, utilizing applicable coding conventions.

Required Qualifications Inpatient Facility Medical Coder:

• !! MUST reside in Washington or Oregon !!
• MUST have ONE: RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certificate
• Experience in facility coding
• Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-PCS, HPCS/CPT and coding
