Medical Receptionist HealthCare Support is actively seeking a  Medical Receptionist to fill an opening  in Niagara Falls, New York.  Daily Responsibilities for Medical Receptionist

• Greet and assist patients with check-in, check-out, registration, and appointment scheduling.

• Verify insurance, collect copayments, update patient information in EMR systems, and handle phone calls and faxes.

• Respond to provider inquiries and perform general administrative duties to support daily clinic operations.

• Monday – Friday 8am - 430pm

Required Qualifications for Medical Receptionist

• 2+ years of experience as a Medical front desk/receptionist
• High School Diploma or GED
• Client requires PPD testing

Preferred Qualifications for Medical Receptionist

• 1+ year of clinical experience in practice (long-term care setting preferred)
• Experience in meeting the medical needs of patients with complex behavioral, social and/or functional needs
• Understanding of Geriatrics and Chronic Illness
• Proficient computer skills including the ability to document medical information with written and electronic medical records
