Certified Athletic Trainer HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Certified Athletic Trainert to fill an opening in New Hyde Park, New York.  Daily Responsibilities for Certified Athletic Trainer

• Room patients and obtain focused musculoskeletal histories.
• Assist the physician with musculoskeletal examinations and clinical assessments.
• Assist with ultrasound-guided injections, procedures, and other in-office treatments.
• Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, rehabilitation, home exercises, activity modification, and injury prevention.
• Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm

Required Qualifications for Certified Athletic Trainer

• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries, examination, rehabilitation, and therapeutic exercise.
• Strong patient communication and education skills.
• BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) required.  Verify at: https://at.bocatc.org/atcs
• New York State Athletic Trainer License required, or candidate must be eligible for NYS licensure .

Preferred Qualifications for Certified Athletic Trainer

• Prior Sports Medicine or Orthopedic clinical experience.
• Epic EMR experience.
• Experience assisting with ultrasound-guided procedures and injections.
