Executive Director of Hospital Facilities Management
Step into a highly visible executive leadership role overseeing facilities and support services for a large, complex
hospital system in San Antonio. This position will lead critical
hospital infrastructure, regulatory compliance, capital and plant operations, and a large multidisciplinary team while partnering directly with executive leadership to support safe, efficient operations across the health system.
Compensation: $217,000–$230,000/year, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday

PTO accrual rate for Directors is at 10.16hrs. a pay period, with each year of service you will accrue and extra day of pay time off PTO. Max number of hours is 520.
Daily Responsibilities:

Provide executive leadership for facilities, engineering, and support services across a large, complex healthcare system. Oversee critical hospital infrastructure, capital projects, regulatory compliance, and Central Utility Plant operations while leading a large multidisciplinary team. Partner closely with executive leadership to drive facility strategy, operational excellence, and a safe, reliable environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.

Significant leadership experience in healthcare facilities management or hospital engineering.

Strong knowledge of facility operations, capital projects, Central Utility Plant systems, and regulatory compliance.

Working knowledge of Joint Commission, NFPA, building codes, and hospital safety requirements.

Experience leading large teams within a complex healthcare environment.
