HealthCare Support is seeking a
Hospital Liaison to join a top respiratory and DME provider supporting patients throughout the
Hiawatha, Iowa community. This is a great opportunity to be in a more autonomous, patient-focused role centered around respiratory equipment. This role is a pretty unique mix of
healthcare, relationship-building, patient education, and field work rather than being stuck behind a desk all day. You become the person who makes sure a patient's transition from hospital to home actually works. You're building relationships with hospital staff, coordinating the equipment the patient needs, educating the patient and family, and following through once they're home

Compensation:

Hourly Pay - $20.00-$22

Quarterly Bonus up to $800 per quarter based on performance and eligibility criteria
Schedule:
-
Tuesday - Saturday, 8:30/9 AM to 5/6 PM

Daily Responsibilities:
-
Deliver O2 tanks and other DME equipment to discharging patients and checking in with referral sources about needs throughout the day

Work with case managers, social workers, nurses, and physicians to coordinate discharge, arrange respiratory/DME equipment, and educate patients and caregivers.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED equivalent
-
3+ years of related work experience
-
Experience working with medical equipment or in a healthcare setting
-
Familiarity with medical billing practices and insurance reimbursement
-
Background in medical administration and record management
