Clinical Account Consultant / Pharmacist – Denver, CO
HealthCare Support is looking for a strategic, client-focused Clinical Account Consultant who is passionate about transforming the pharmacy benefits experience. In this highly collaborative role, you'll serve as a trusted clinical advisor, partnering with clients to develop innovative formulary and clinical strategies that improve outcomes, manage trends, and deliver exceptional value.
Daily Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary clinical consultant for clients, developing and implementing formulary, benefit, and clinical strategies that optimize outcomes, manage pharmacy trends, and support long-term client success.

Lead the clinical components of client implementations, plan changes, and formulary management, including gathering requirements, configuring clinical plans, performing quality reviews, and validating testing and claims outcomes.

Analyze pharmacy claims data and clinical trends to deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations, while clearly communicating complex clinical programs, formulary decisions, and drug information to clients.

Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Clinical Operations, Product, and Account Management to support client presentations, RFPs/RFIs, implementations, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Drive operational excellence by leading clinical initiatives, improving internal processes, supporting regulatory compliance, and ensuring adherence to the Code of Conduct.

Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

3 days in office / 2 days remote
Compensation:
-
Competitive base salary of $128,000 - $160,000 + up to 10% annual bonus

Required Qualifications:
-
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution

Current, unrestricted registered pharmacist license(s)

Relevant experience of 3-5 years in a health plan or pharmacy benefits management (PBM)

Direct account management experience supporting clients across multiple lines of business

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Microsoft Excel

Experience working with large datasets and analyzing raw data in Excel
-
Ability to travel and present to small and large groups
