Director of Emergency Services – Registered Nurse
HealthCare Support is seeking a
Director of Emergency Services – Registered Nurse with a nationally recognized healthcare provider for excellence. This physician-led provider has earned one of the highest employee recommendation rates in South Texas!
Daily Responsibilities for Director of Emergency Services – Registered Nurse :

Supervise and support the team that cares for patients in the Emergency Department
-
Create and carry out plans to improve patient care and keep the department running smoothly
-
Always be available and responsible for the Emergency Department (24/7 accountability)
-
Make staffing decisions, evaluate team performance, and ensure the ED runs efficiently
-
Report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) or facility Administrator
-
Monday - Friday, days
Required Qualifications for Director of Emergency Services – Registered Nurse :
-
Current and valid TX license as a Registered Nurse / RN
-
2 + years of leadership experience within an Emergency Room
-
8+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience
-
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
-
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate upon hire and maintain current
-
Current PALS upon hire and maintain current
-
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
-
Must have experience with the Joint Commission Surveys
