As a Welder, you will be responsible for:
Fabricate and repair customer orders using a variety of materials
Read and interpret blueprints and work orders accurately
Perform MIG welding (TIG welding is a plus) and metal finishing
Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal components
Fit, install, and assemble fabricated structures
Operate shop machinery and power tools (training provided)
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Assist with material handling in and out of the shop
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Completion of Fabrication Trainee program or equivalent experience
MIG welding experience (TIG welding is a plus)
Mechanical aptitude and strong hand-eye coordination
Ability to read tape measures and blueprints
Willingness to learn and rotate tasks
Certified welding/fabrication credentials (preferred)
Ability to pass a welding test (preferred)
Familiarity with AWS welding symbols (preferred)
