Technology Account Executive – Hybrid - Benchmark IT
Benchmark IT, a leading technology consulting and recruitment firm in the NY Metro area, has an outstanding opportunity for a Technology Account Executive in our Stamford, CT headquarters. We operate in Hybrid mode, 1 day/week in the office and 4 days/week from home.

· Bachelor’s Degree or higher · 2+ years in technology sales, recruiting, staffing or related business-to-business technology sales fieldOur direct client, a global firm in Northern NJ, seeks an experienced Business Analyst to work on requirements for a new software project, where the client is building an application used in business risk management.
This is a long-term contract position, with immediate interview and hire. The position is 95% remote, we would prefer a candidate who can drive to Northern NJ once or twice a month for meetings with the team and stakeholders. The Business Analyst (BA) will work alongside the business process leads (BPLs) and IT application development teams; translating business requirements and creating detailed functional specifications; assisting in the design of and supporting the implementation of software applications. The BA will participate in blueprinting and design sessions with business and technical leads to specify the solution at a detailed functional level and to help the BPLs evaluate the proposed technical solution meets the business requirements.Responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with business process leads to gather the high-level business requirements, documenting the findings and decisions within acceptable standards and templates
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team on the development and implementation of new software applications.
• Analyze the impact to integration points and ensure that design can meet the need
• Perform requirements development, analysis, and create related documentation, i.e. use cases, business process diagrams, use case realizations, user interface storyboards/prototypes, report mockups, data conversion specifications, specific to this new application.
• Create the detailed functional specifications document
• Translate requirements and work with IT on the development of implementation options to be then played back and serving as an interface to the business process leads
• Ensure traceability from business requirements through application testing
• Interface with the Testing team and help them to prepare for testing
• Review test cases, and test scripts developed by the Testing team, as well as perform spot checking to ensure functionality meets business requirements
• SME with regards to application functionality and ability to validate if a reported issue is a defect or an enhancement
• Work with the other members of the development, QA, testing and business teams to clarify requirements and application functionality
• Support and enable delivery of projects through completion
• Must be able to communicate requirements effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desired Experience/Knowledge
• 4-5 years of hands on Business Analysis experience in a complex regulated environment
• Strong experience with Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Teams; preferred exposure to Azure DevOps.
• Skillful in requirements elicitation, analysis, and management for medium to large initiatives while interacting with multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, proficient at communicating/interacting professionally with diverse groups, clients, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
• Professional designation such as CBAP, PMP, Six Sigma or comparable methodologies strongly encouraged
• Proficient with industry-standard, structured business analysis techniques, and practices
