Data Manager - Healthcare:

Overview:

Our direct client, a fast-growing healthcare and data analytics firm based in the Boston area is seeking to bring on an experienced Data Analyst Manager to lead a dynamic, multinational data team. This role offers the opportunity to provide leadership, strategic insight, and hands-on expertise in healthcare data analysis while helping shape the future of data-driven solutions in the healthcare industry.

The ideal candidate will bring not only strong technical skills in data analysis but also a deep understanding of the healthcare system — including its business models, operations, and regulatory landscape — ensuring technical solutions are aligned with real-world healthcare challenges.

This is a hybrid position requiring 3–4 days per week onsite at the company’s Boston, MA office and reports directly to the Vice President of Data.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Healthcare Data Analysts and QA Engineers, including offshore staff.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to solve complex healthcare data challenges.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing technical solutions and resolving data-related issues.

• Translate customer business needs into technical and operational requirements for the data team.

• Promote and implement best practices in data processes, team collaboration, and system performance.

• Monitor compliance with functional requirements, system standards, and data governance policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.

• 7+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts).

• Deep understanding of healthcare data standards including ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, SNOMED.

• Strong business understanding of the healthcare industry — including healthcare delivery models, claims and billing workflows, payer-provider dynamics, and regulatory compliance.

• Experience working with Electronic Health Records (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or similar).

• Familiarity with healthcare compliance and data privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, HITECH).

• Experience analyzing claims data from Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers.

• Knowledge of HEDIS quality measures and CMS data.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience working with healthcare data.

• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.

• Prior experience leading offshore or distributed data teams.

• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Lean methodologies in data projects.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

Senior Systems Engineer – Westchester County, NY (Onsite)

Job Description

The Senior Systems Engineer will provide hands-on IT infrastructure support, drive the implementation of innovative technologies, and ensure the stability and reliability of internal systems and services. This role will play a key part in transforming the organization’s IT infrastructure to improve overall business agility, working closely with internal stakeholders, executive leadership, and department heads.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment and maintenance of datacenter and cloud infrastructure

• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, applications, databases, and system management tools

• Monitor and manage all installed systems and infrastructure, including networks, external connectivity, custom and third-party applications, security, servers, storage, and backups

• Design and deliver projects that support the company’s IT strategy and long-term vision

• Balance long-term initiatives with short-term service requests through effective time management and delegation

• Champion core company values within the IT team and broader organization

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions aligned with business goals

• Identify and implement innovative processes and emerging technologies

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-level infrastructure

• Strong technical foundation in networking, systems/applications, and cloud platforms

• Well-rounded skills across business, technical, financial, and analytical domains

• Excellent critical thinking, strategic planning, and project execution capabilities

• Advanced hands on experience with Microsoft Active Directory including GPO, DNS, DHCP

• Proficiency in identity and access management concepts

• Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, VBScript)

• Hands-on deployment and maintenance of Microsoft server technologies, including Failover Clustering and Hyper-V

• Familiarity with email administration and best practices

• Working knowledge of Veeam backup and recovery solutions

• Ability to manage time independently and deliver projects with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of SQL 

The base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $140,000.

Senior Data Engineer

 

Core Responsibilities

• Design and maintain highly scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS-native services
• Build and manage data lake and data warehouse solutions (including Redshift)
• Support ingestion, transformation, and modeling of large-scale, market-sensitive datasets
• Collaborate with data scientists, quantitative analysts, and trading teams to optimize data access and usability
• Ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity across systems
• Implement best practices for data versioning, testing, and CI/CD automation

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
• Expert-level proficiency in Python for building and automating data workflows
• Strong experience with the AWS data ecosystem, including:
• S3 (storage)
• Lambda (serverless compute)
• Glue (ETL orchestration)
• Redshift (data warehousing)

Experience with Docker for containerized data processing

Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform or AWS CloudFormation)

Solid understanding of SQL and performance tuning in data warehouses

Experience working with large, complex datasets in production environments Preferred Experience

• Background in commodities, energy trading, or broader financial markets
• Exposure to data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
• Experience with real-time or streaming data processing (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging for data pipelines (e.g., CloudWatch, Grafana)
