Dayshift Mechanical Supervisor

Astute’s Power team are looking to recruit a Dayshift Mechanical Site Supervisor on an Energy from Waste Project in North London on a 6-month minimum contract. Key skills

Oversee mechanical installation activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.
Provide technical oversight of mechanical equipment installation.
Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety procedures, including conducting toolbox talks, monitoring safe systems of work, and promoting a strong safety culture on site.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors and site operatives, ensuring quality standards, programme milestones, and productivity targets are achieved.
Maintain accurate site records, progress updates, and communicate effectively with the wider team.
Candidates who have Energy from Waste experience are preferred
Candidates must hold in date SSSTS, CCNSG, IOSH, Working at Height and Confined Space.
Day shifts will be 11 days on, 3 days off subject to weekends.

Civil Site Supervisor

Astute’s Power team are looking to recruit a Civil Site Supervisor on an Energy from Waste Project in Chester on a 12-month minimum contract. Key skills

Be responsible for the safety and HSE performance of all personnel under their control, and for stopping work where this might be compromised
Implement standardised methods to identify complex problems
Supports pro-actively the project team to achieve objectives
Ensure works within area of responsibility are executed in accordance with the contract, and conform with project time and budget requirements
Co-operate with contractors and exchange experience with colleagues responsible for products and other project teams and specialist department
Must be heavily Civil focused background with leadership / supervisory skills and experience
Must have experience within the EFW or similar industry
Must hold an in-date SSSTS and CCNSG/CSCS Card

The BIM Modeller role comes with a annual salary of between £50,000 to £55,000. Responsibilities and duties of the BIM Modeller role: • Use BIM software to develop and maintain detailed 3D models • Ensure model compliance with industry standards and project requirements. • Execute clash detection and discuss and resolve issues in the design. • Collaborate with AEC professionals and stakeholders and participate in project meetings to ensure coordinated and accurate designs. • Update and revise models based upon feedback and project changes. • Perform model quality checks to ensure they are accurate and complete.
