Plastics Recycling Avonmouth Up to £29,900 ( 4 on 4 off - Days & Nights)

 

Introduction

We are currently looking for a Site Operative to join one of the leading Waste Management specialists in the UK. Working at their Plastic Recycling Facility in Avonmouth, the Site Operative will be responsible for supporting with the operating, inspecting and maintenance of static and mobile plant on-site. You will be carrying out duties related to the movement, loading and unloading of Plastic Reyclling Materials as well as supporting with site maintenance and general yard activities. 

This role involves working a 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern including night shifts, please only apply is this is suitable.

 

The Role:

Working as a Site Operative, you will be responsible for:

• Picking, cleaning and supporting site based duties
• Operating, Inspecting and Maintaining Forklift and Telehandler plant on-site.
• Carrying out activities to move, sort and segregate waste materials at the waste recycling facility.
• Loading and unloading of materials for transport to and from the site.
• Occasional cover at other waste facilities as required.

The Candidate

To be considered you should have experience in the below:

• Operation of a Forklift in a previous position.
• Valid plant operation tickets or in-house training is preferred.
• Experience working in a site-based role.
• Comfortable working in a waste management/ recycling industry

Design Engineer Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 Location – Stone, Staffordshire Start date - Immediate

The Role We are recruiting for a Design Engineer. Who has had experience working in the Recycling, Power Generation & Water Treatment.  You will be responsible in delivering 3D and detailed designs from concept to production.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Delivery 3D and detail designs in a timely fashion
• Be comfortable liaising with clients & vendors
• The ability to visit site and carry out site surveys
• Be able to manage client’s expectations to achieve maximum satisfaction
• You will be responsible delivering the project in the most cost-effective manner

Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Experience within design and manufacture industries
• Have experienced working with AutoCAD & Advance Steel
• You would have worked with Navisworks & Vault
• Produce G.A and Detailed Drawings
• Be comfortable carrying out site surveys.
• Fine eye for detail
• Be able to complete and manage own workload in a timely fashion.

Salary & Package

Role and Responsibilities

The HV SAP will be responsible for:

 

• Commissioning of LV and HV Systems
• Documentation Control
• Safety Procedures
• Project Management of High Voltage Works across the portfolio
• Write, Issue and close required Permits and Sanctions to AP’s and or Competent Persons
• To be responsible for all High Voltage operations carried out on site
• Develop an understanding of the specialist electrical equipment on site
• Lead the investigation and resolution of Plant Trips, Equipment failures, incidents and near misses.
• Ensure all electrical operations and maintenance activities are carried out across the site

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Experience as a Senior Authorised Person
• HV/LV experience
• Experience in solar is ideal
• Experience in writing switching schedules
• Full UK Driving License

• Knowledge of PLC controls or electronics (Advantage)
• The willingness to undergo further training/certificates/qualifications
