Senior Asset Manager – Rooftop Solar Projects Amsterdam, Holland Competitive Salary & Benefits package     Introduction Astute are working with a global power & investment company and are supporting their Solar division, based in Amsterdam. We are looking for an experienced Asset Manager, ideally with Rooftop Solar experience to oversee the development, operations & maintenance of it’s solar PV portfolio across Holland. This role will be primarily based out of their office in Amsterdam and would require infrequent travel to sites.                   Roles & Responsibilities As the Senior Asset Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Rooftop PV portfolio contract management
• Asset optimisation & performance
• Monitoring contractor performance against agreed service level agreements
• Review and deliver O&M strategies focusing on reducing downtime
• Engage with key stakeholders relating to performance, commercial and construction issues
• Support the O&M team with fault identification and rectification
• Oversee EPC projects & support the business with commercial bids / tenders
• Budget management

    Skills & Qualifications We are looking for someone with the following:

• Ideally degree qualified with an Engineering degree or equivalent working experience
• Experience with asset management / operations / maintenance of Solar PV
• At least 5 – 8 years of experience in similar Solar PV projects
• Experience in managing budgets, overseeing strategies and stakeholder engagement
• Valid Dutch licence
• Fluent Dutch speaker

• Assist in the preparation of budgets for the EC&I Department
• Act as the EC&I lead during planned outages, manage specialist contractors on site.
• Perform the role of Electrical Senior Authorised Person under the company’s safety rules
• Ensuring all activities are carried out in a safe manner and in line with company safety policies, safety rules and relevant H&S legislation.
• Deputise for the Engineering Manager as and when required

    Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following:  

• Ideally a HNC, or similar, in a relevant engineering subject such as Electrical/Electronics/Measurement and Control Engineering
• HV SAP/AP Experience
• IOSH/NEBOSH will be advantageous

    Personal skills, qualification and experience The EC&I Engineer role would suit someone who has:  

• Proven supervisory / management experience in heavy process engineering environments such as Power Generation (Energy from Waste, Biomass, Coal, CCGT, CHP, etc), Paper Mills, COMAH sites, Steelworks, Refineries, etc
• Experience in maintaining and working on a variety of instrumentation, electrical and control system equipment (SCADA, PLC, temperature, level, pressure, flow, switch gear, motors, variable speed drives, transformers etc).
• Contract management experience.

Project Engineer – Lifting Bridgwater, Somerset Up to £50,000 salary Our client is currently looking for a Project Engineer to join their team based in Bridgwater, Somerset. The successful candidate will be working on a large nuclear power station and be responsible for the production of technical solutions, design and engineering of heavy lift. Roles & Responsibilities As the Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Astute’s Power team is partnering with a modular building contractor to recruit a Site Manager on a short-term contract basis for its site in Basildon from December 2025. The Site Manager role comes with a day rate of between £350 per day (CIS).              Key skills  

• Overseeing site day-to-day activities and installation of modular builds
• Adhering to HSE requirements
• Ensuring transport and deliveries are kept on top of on site
• Liaison with the Site and Office teams regularly
• Raise and Sign-off permits
• Must ideally hold modular build experience
• Must be flexible for weekend working occasionally 
• Must hold an CSCS and SMSTS
• First Aid (beneficial)
