The strategically important Maintenance Engineer role comes with a salary of up to £55,000 for a Sunday- Thursday working week and is based full time across the two facilities. • Support site-wide maintenance, including leachate pumps, material transfer screws, and general repairs.
• Continuously develop professional skills and maintain competence in the role.
• Carry out any additional duties as required across two facilities in the Peterborough area.

• HNC or equivalent in Mechanical, electrical or a relevant engineering qualification is essential.

Astute are working on behalf of our client who are one of the world’s largest leaders in the Environmental, Waste and Energy Recovery industries to recruit a Shift Operations Technician. The Energy from Waste site in Lincolnshire has a capacity to process 190,000 tonnes of waste per year, generating 13MW of power for the surrounding area. We are looking for a Shift Operations Technician to join the team at the Energy from Waste site as part of a 12-hour rotating shift team. You’ll be responsible for the safe & efficient operations of the plant including startup & shut down duties, plant inspections and first line maintenance. • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant.

• Able to carry out first line maintenance on Mechanical or Electrical equipment
