Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with a rapidly growing ICP, who provide end to end solutions across sustainable and renewable infrastructure, focusing on substations, EV, and other renewable assets. Together we are looking for an SAP Project Engineer to support with the growth and pipeline of projects.
The Senior Authorised Person (SAP) Project Engineer will play a vital role in delivery of HV and LV installations, ensuring all electricity networks are installed to a safe, professional, and high-quality standard. The SAP Project Engineer comes with a salary up to £55,000 and an OTE of £75,000 with door-to-door travel pay!

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Project Manager
you will:

Supervise and manage site personnel working across both LV and HV networks.

Assist in testing and final commissioning of distribution systems (LV/HV).

Plan and co-ordinate projects and fault response call outs.

Carry out audits and produce reports on works completed, managing project budgets and team efficiency.

Assist in the training and development of colleagues in progression to LV AP OR HV AP.

Produce site specific risk assessments and RAMS documentation.

Act as Standby Engineer for extensive O&M portfolio.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

Currently hold (or previously held) authorisations up to 33kV including permit to work (will also consider up to 11kV).

CSCS.

Full UK Driving License.
Personal skills
The SAP Project Engineer role would suit someone who is:

Safety conscious, proven ability to assess potential hazards and take appropriate action to ensure safety of personnel and operatives.

Experienced producing RAMS, including issuing and terminating documentation.

Flexible to attend sites and work at enhanced rates at the weekend.

A salary up to £55,000 per annum with an OTE of circa £75,000.
