Role & Responsibilities
Maintains a clean desk policy.
Supervisors are to ensure the technicians are on time at site, are clear on requirements, ensures HSE RAMS are conducted, ensures HSE point of work risk assessments are conducted, QA requirements are adhered to. These site requirements are a must for all sites, where there are to many sites to manage it is agreed which sites are requirements with communication with the manager. The manager must support in these occasions.
To conduct technical reports.
Assist with work scope preparations this could be PPE, tooling, QA documents, equipment sign off documents such as pump requirements.
Must check regularly with customers to ensure the work is being conducted satisfactorily to the customers’ requirements.
Attends safety meetings each month with team.
Verify and approve Technician’s timesheets and submit to manager for final approval
Supervisors’ single projects or outages.
Manages team to ensure their problems are resolved and team are supported correctly.
Ensures works scheduled are met on time and the team understand the requirements of each scope
Updates Manager each day with good communication, resolves problems themselves.
Manager to ensure the Supervisor is fully up to speed with schedule, customer requirements and scopes at all times.
Conducts toolbox talks on larger projects.
Conducts site audits with team positives and negatives.
Ensuring skill requirements are met with support from Manager.
Liaise with engineers, planners, and other departments to coordinate work and resolve problems.
