Energy Efficiency Sales Engineer (UK & Ireland) Role Summary A technical sales role focused on driving the adoption of energy efficiency solutions. You’ll work with consultants, end-users, and internal teams to win projects, grow market presence, and support product development. Key Responsibilities Sell and specify energy efficiency solutions to consultants and end-users Deliver presentations, CPD sessions, and industry events Prepare and submit tenders/quotes based on project specs or site visits Manage relationships with system integrators and partners Support regional sales teams with technical expertise Gather market, competitor, and customer feedback Contribute to product launches, pricing, and marketing materials Maintain forecasts, reports, and CRM updates What Success Looks Like Meeting sales and revenue targets Growing pipeline and winning new projects Strong engagement with consultants and partners Accurate forecasting and reporting Required Experience ~5+ years in technical/solution sales (ideally energy, metering, or electrical systems) Experience selling to consultants or industrial/commercial clients Background in electrical, electronic, or software engineering (preferred) Knowledge of UK market and energy efficiency solutions Key Skills Technical knowledge: low-voltage electrical systems, energy monitoring, automation/SCADA, IT networks Strong communication and presentation skills Commercial awareness and ability to influence stakeholders Good organisational and time management skills Other Requirements Based in the UK & Ireland region Willing to travel (~50% nationwide, including London) Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools Ideal Candidate Profile (Quick Snapshot) A technically strong sales engineer who understands energy systems, can engage consultants, and is comfortable managing the full sales cycle—from specification to closing deals
