Reporting to the Plant Manager you will:

  • Support the safe, efficient daily operation of an anaerobic digestion plant
  • Monitor and optimise performance via the control system
  • Manage material intake and feeding in line with operational plans
  • Record and report plant data and performance metrics
  • Complete routine inspections, checks and basic first-line maintenance
  • Identify and escalate faults or process issues
  • Conduct routine sampling of the organic material and process monitoring
  • Operate the weighbridge and maintain accurate documentation
  • Maintain site security, housekeeping and compliance with permits and procedures
  • Assist with maintenance activities and participate in the on-call rota, including weekends and bank holidays

 

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Experience working in an agricultural, process-driven, industrial or energy environment
  • Strong awareness of health, safety and environmental compliance
  • Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to undertake first-line maintenance
  • IT literacy and confidence working with plant control or monitoring systems
  • A full UK driving licence.

Astute are exclusively partnered with a global OEM Renewables Business who are looking for a Wind Turbine Technician / Electrical Technician to join their business. The main purpose of the role would be to work in a team who will service and maintain their onshore wind turbines. To be considered for this role you must have Level 3 Electrical qualifications and be from the wind industry, or you’ll be from another sector performing electrical maintenance in a heavy industrial environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Field Area Manager, as a Wind Turbine Technician / Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on wind turbines
