Manage and support Assistant Shift Team Leaders and Waste Acceptance Operators
Monitor plant systems and adjust controls to optimise output and compliance
Ensure accurate reporting of operational performance and incidents
Maintain site documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives
Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or similar technical training
NVQ or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
Experience operating high-pressure steam systems in a power generation or continuous process environment
Good understanding of environmental and H&S regulations
A confident team leader with excellent communication and decision-making skills
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities

Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following:
Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
Senior E&M leadership experience in a continuous process environment.
Strong knowledge of engineering risk, asset integrity, ATEX/DSEAR and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with COMAH, Process Safety and Safe Systems of Work.
Experience managing budgets, technical standards and major maintenance activities.
Competence in CMMS use, engineering documentation and contractor oversight.
