Responsibilities and duties
As the Cost Control Manager you will:

Develop and manage the initial project budget, ensuring alignment with bid estimates.

Monitor, control, and report on all project costs, identifying deviations and risks.

Provide accurate Estimate to Complete (ETC) forecasts through data analysis.

Prepare cost control reports and financial analyses to support decision-making.
-
Support planning and scheduling teams with cost assessments and forecasts.

Validate actual vs. planned resource consumption and cost measurements.

Ensure compliance with company cost control procedures and reporting standards.

Manage supplier and subcontractor cost claims, ensuring fair evaluations.

Collaborate with project leadership on cost risk management and corrective actions.

Work closely with finance, procurement, and contracts teams for seamless cost integration.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Engineering, Construction Management or similar field

Proficiency in cost control tools and financial reporting software.

Proven experience as a Cost Control Manager

Strong background in water treatment, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable.

Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis for large-scale projects.

Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
