Ruth joined Astute in 2022 as a Recruitment Consultant, in 2023 she was promoted to Senior Recruitment Consultant.
Ruth works in Astute’s Power team, recruiting permanent roles such as Shift Team Leaders, Mechanical and EC&I Engineers and associated management roles for leading businesses in the Operations and Maintenance space.
Ruth is currently completing a HNC in Process Engineering which is due to be finished early in 2024. Outside of work and studying Ruth enjoys travelling and has particularly enjoyed the time she has spent in South America. She also enjoys hiking, camping, seeing friends and exploring new cities.

About Ruth Winter:

When my primary contact, Megan, was out of the office for a week on annual leave, I anticipated some repetition and loss of momentum as Ruth became acquainted with me and the role. That was not the case. Ruth and Megan were an excellent tag team, and my concerns were quickly allayed. Ruth kept me informed throughout the process and provided constructive feedback on my second interview presentation.
