Job Description:
As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move and manage inventory within our warehouse. You will ensure that all operations are performed safely and efficiently, while adhering to company policies and procedures
Hours/Pay:
- First shift 7a-3:30p
- $19 per hour
- Possible increase if hired on.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to transport materials and products to designated areas.
- Load and unload shipments with accuracy and care.
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on forklifts and other equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and materials moved.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a forklift driver or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices related to forklift operation.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts and material-handling equipment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
