Tool Room Supervisor

*This is a direct hire opportunity on 1st shift paying $30/hr

Purpose: Assist Supervisor to revise, repair and maintain molds, jigs, fixtures, gauges and cutters. Assist with repair of press components and trouble shoot molds and secondary tooling problems. Recommend to Supervisor a corrective action plan for problem molds and tools, which will ensure quality parts for the customer. Responsibilities:

• Advise Supervisor immediately of any unreported mold damage, wear or unsatisfactory conditions
• Operate milling machine, lathe, drill press, surface grinder and auxiliary equipment
• Use and operate tool room equipment and machinery in a safe manner
• Maintain tool room equipment and keep work area organized and clean
• Perform other duties as required

Training Requirements (OJT 90 Days): Work Experience:

• Preferred 3 – 5 years related tool room experience in an injection molding environment
• Must be able to read part and tool drawings and use standard measuring instruments
• Working knowledge of equipment, molds, fixtures, etc.
• Ability to be flexible due to priority changes

Injection Molding Technician Responsible for mold installation and removal, start-up and troubleshooting of existing jobs, and direction of work station set-up and effectiveness. Will aid in determining process ability to establish the largest process window while meeting customer specifications and profitability. Responsibilities: - Ability to perform all duties of Set-Up Technician - Mold installation and removal - Interacts with all departments to recommend, implement and follow through processing problems and maintaining optimum process conditions - Maintain process data logs and process set-up sheets - Machine start-up and shutdowns - Procure and analyze IQMS data - Communication with shift personnel to ascertain equipment effectiveness and reliability - Maintaining Set-up equipment condition, organization, and inventories - Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process and quality systems - Assist in training of Set-Up Tech personnel - Perform other duties as required Training Requirements (OJT 90 Days or less): Ongoing, informal, evaluation by Management for additional training needs. Work Experience: - Minimum three (3) years knowledge and experience in Set-Up Technician position - Working knowledge of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. - Working knowledge of process troubleshooting and mold setting - Ability to read and interpret part prints Skills Required: - Basic Skills consisting of reading, writing, mathematics, speaking and listening.  Thinking Skills consisting of creative thinking, problem solving skills, decision making skills and visualization. - People Skills consisting of social, leadership and teamwork. - Personal Quality Skills consisting of self-esteem, self-management and responsibility. Responsibilities include:

• Monthly reconciliation of accounts, as well as preparing and analyzing financial statements to ensure accurate financial records

• Maintain and update general ledger accounts

• Annual, quarterly, and monthly federal and state tax calculation and payment (sales tax, Worker’s Comp, etc.)

• Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

• Processing invoices

• Collaboration with other departments to gather data and identify and resolve discrepancies

• Vendor account management (verifying payables and statements)

• Applying and reconciling in-store and online payments against customer accounts

Experience and skills:

• Must have previous experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting, with a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles

• Proficient in debits and credits, as well as general ledger accounting

• Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency REQUIRED

• Must be comfortable navigating a variety of web platforms/software, including point of sale and merchant account/payment platforms (e.g., Lightspeed, Stripe, Amazon payments); experience with these types of environments is strongly preferred.
