The Warehouse Associate is responsible for coordinating transportation, managing shipping operations, and ensuring on-time delivery of customer orders while maintaining compliance and controlling transportation costs.
Responsibilities include:
Plan and coordinate daily freight and transportation activities
Schedule carriers and manage shipment routing
Monitor shipments and communicate delivery updates
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations
Analyze freight costs and identify opportunities for improvement
Work closely with production, purchasing, sales, warehouse, and customer service teams
