About Me

Recruiting since: 1995

Benchmark IT - Technology Talent Birthdate: 05/05/2007

I'm a family man with a wonderful wife Nancy and two kids, Julia who's out of college and working, and John Henry who's still in college and developing his many talents in music and writing. We live in CT and have an Australian Shepherd dog "Cooper" and a rescue cat "Charlie Parker" and we have a lot of fun with both of those crazy animals. I probably work too much, I guess that's why I eventually opened my own Technology recruiting firm after working in a large one and then a medium-sized one, I really enjoy being part of the technology industry and trying to do the very best job of staffing and placement that we can do, constantly learning and trying to get better. But I try to balance the work with a lot of fun activities with family, friends, sports and travel.

Why I love recruiting...

I get tremendous satisfaction from helping an individual find a new position and take the next step in their career. When working with clients, I love to discuss and understand where they're taking their department or what the new project is, and then finding the right person or team of people they need. And I enjoy keeping in touch and seeing the results and progress over time, that really feels good and is interesting to me.

When I'm not working, I love to...

Play any sport involving racquets and balls, ski and organize an annual "Ski Wild" guys' ski trip we've been doing for 35 years, ride my Peleton bike and race people on the leaderboard, and do home-improvement projects around the house.
