Originally from Midland, TX, I now call Lubbock, TX home—when I’m actually there! I started my career as a certified surgical technologist and later advanced my skills by becoming a first assist in surgery. I spent five years as a traveling surgical tech, working in Idaho, Florida, Maine, Texas, California, and Massachusetts. I learned firsthand what it takes to make a travel assignment successful!

Now, as a recruiter, I bring that experience to the table. I’m committed to treating travelers the way I wanted to be treated—offering the best pay packages, responding quickly, and making the process as smooth as possible. Although I’m always on the go, I bring my work with me everywhere and pride myself on being available whenever my travelers need me. Your success is my priority, no matter where I am!

With over 9-years’ experience in recruiting, Russ is passionate about bringing the best experience to his nurses. Russ believes in supporting his nurses because, in turn, they fill an urgent need in healthcare. In fact, his son was delivered by a travel nurse! Russ lives in Houston, Texas with his wife and two sons. Outside of work, Russ is an avid tennis player and an active member of his church.

I grew up in beautiful San Diego, CA. My husband and I just bought our first house last year here in San Diego. I am a mom of a 7 yr. old daughter who Ioves to sing, play soccer, swim, and do gymnastics. In my free time I enjoy the beach, hiking, running, shopping, and being with my family/friends. I have a passion for photography and used to have my own business. I am learning how to take care of plants which is a work in progress. My family has a home in Costa Rica that we try to get to at least once a year. It is our happy place!

I've spent the past 10 years diving headfirst into the world of travel nursing. It's been a wild ride! I've learned the ins and outs of matching awesome nurses with hospitals in need. I'm not just about filling spots; I'm interested in building lasting connections.
