Participating as a member of the CMO Roundtable has been one of the most valuable peer groups of my professional career. Not only do the members of our group openly share successful marketing strategies and helpful resources, they also act as a highly relevant sounding board to brainstorm new, innovative ideas. Additionally, the Visus Group provides mindful facilitation of the CMO Roundtable meetings, offering guidance and direct feedback that challenges members to think differently about our challenges and achieve our goals. Through the CMO Roundtable, I've been able to connect with marketing experts within the staffing industry who help me solve issues and support me both professionally and personally.
This is my first year in the staffing industry and I feel this group has been extremely beneficial. I have learned a lot about the industry in just a few short days with VISUS. Most of what I'm working on falls in line with a lot of my contemporaries, so it's been great to exchange ideas on next steps and best practices.
I would like to see more structure around IP and topics during the Roundtables. Perhaps a theme for each session? I feel like most folks would gain more value from hot topics than IP. We spent significant time on things that could have been in an email. There wasn't time to get into hot topics. I would also like networking opportunities with other peer groups to hear from faster-growing or larger companies in the same segment.
The location was functional but a little odd in layout. The meals did not allow for members to meet and network as effectively as they were able to at previous locations.
