I always have a fantastic experience and leave with so much more knowledge than I had when I came. It's always fun to hear new ideas. It's never the same conversation and the collaboration between different people is exciting and always a great time. I wish the Denver location would have been a little closer to down town or public transit options since they are cheaper. It felt like it was pretty far out there.
The ability to collaberate with a group of peers that run successful and unique businesses is outstanding. The ability to idea share, learn and change is what every successful business owner should strive for and what better way to do that than with successful C-suite individuals that are at the heart of their operations.
This is by far the best networking group that I am a part of. I have member of the group for 4+ years now and looking forward to many more. I would highly recommend this group to anyone looking to grow in their position.
Incredible opportunity to trade notes and experiences with industry peers. I've told many people this is the most valuable professional group I've ever been a part of.
Tom has done a great job putting together an amazing group.
Things to consider:
1) More convenient meeting locations. In a city where we can walk to restaurants, etc.
2) Using a transcribe program to take notes. This way nothing is missed. Frees up note taker to participate and make real time changes if necessary.
3) Focus on business goals rather than personal goals. Round tables are short and infrequent. Extreme value from issues, questions, and hot topics since everyone is in the same industry. Personal and leadership goals can be done outside of this group with people from other industries since there is crossover.
4) This group is built on sharing and transparency. Consider ways to keep direct competitors out of the same group.
