Fast to respond. Knowledgeable. Understands my contract preferences and tries to accommodate time off requests. Also listens to my requests about the locations I would like to work. Seems to try very hard to get good or at least competitive rates for contracts in the locations that I work. Tries to get the maximum stipends as well.
Has had to deal with my frustration with continued changes in recruiters in my time with Ventura which overall has been a big dissatisfier for me as I have been with the company almost exclusively since 2019 and have had at total of five recruiters in that amount of time. Has also be understanding about my frustrations with continued payroll changes since my time with the company, including this most recent change to Paycom.
I worked with Suzie W
as my recruiter. I had a few challenges with Suzie and requested another recruiter. I was assured that Suzie was one of the best, that was not my experience. I was not given another recruiter. Toward the end of my assignment, Suzie , I was informed, was no longer with the company.
I inherited Suzie, just as I was beginning my assignment, on the heels of another employee leaving the same company. I never felt heard by Suzie. When a new recruiter was requested, I was not heard by Darrin.
My only complaint.
Following the disappearance of my original recruiter Darrin stepped in and has done a fine job of communicating with me which has included reminding me to submit my timesheet.
I am admittedly new to the travel game but I am noticing how the techs from the larger placement companies send holiday, birthday cards and gifts just randomly, when my mother recently passed away I wasn't even asked if I would need time away.
