Jason has been super helpful in entering the world of a traveling therapist. As a new grad the process can feel overwhelming, but he has made everything much easier. He is always there to help with his quick replies, guiding you through each step, and helping point you in the right direction. I'm grateful for his support, and looking forward to working with him in the future!
Jason is very responsive and goes the extra mile! My travel partner and I have lots of questions, and Jason is always willing to be supportive around the clock. We have already recommended him to other friends who may be interested in travel therapy. Great guy!
Sarah is wonderful to work with! She is super friendly, quick to respond to messages and understands my needs as a travel healthcare worker. I would definitely recommend anyone to work with Sarah!
I’ve been working with Sean at Ventura MedStaff for several months now, and he has been one of the most thoughtful and hardworking recruiters I’ve interacted with. From our very first conversation, he took the time to understand my priorities—especially my strong preference for a 1:1 care model in outpatient ortho—and consistently tailored opportunities around that instead of just trying to “fill a job.” He’s even based near me in Colorado, which really shows in how well he understands the local and regional market and the realities of PT workloads.
Throughout the process, Sean has followed up in a very timely and respectful way. He checked in regularly about interviews, helped coordinate times with clinics when schedules were tight, and stayed on top of communication with hiring managers so I didn’t fall through the cracks. He also respected my vacation time and periods of limited reception, doing his best to coordinate interviews around that without being pushy. Even when things fell through on the clinic side, he remained patient, supportive, and proactive about finding other options.
Sean has been upfront about pay ranges, contract lengths, licensing timelines and costs (including reimbursement details), and the realities of how rare true 1:1 care can be in today’s market. He shared helpful resources like licensing links and furnished housing sites, clearly explained what each state would require, and gave me honest feedback when rates came in lower than originally hoped. He’s also been very mindful of my timing—working around my sign-on bonus situation, planned start dates, and the logistics of getting my condo ready for a mid-term lease.
Overall, Sean comes across as genuinely invested in helping me find a contract that fits my clinical values, lifestyle, and long-term sustainability—not just any job with a paycheck. I would highly recommend working with Sean to any PT considering travel, especially if you care about patient care models, work–life balance, and clear, honest communication.
