Sydnie is an intelligent, honest, and competent young professional and a human with integrity. That is how I view her after working with her as my recruiter for several years. My only wish as a person who comes from the older generation is to be informed about any significant changes by a timely phone call instead of receiving texts that need further personal discussion. It also feels much more personal when you hear your recruiter's voice and know that she has your back. Also, on the phone, I can clarify a lot of things in real time instead of texting back and forth about something that is not clear enough. Ready availability of a recruiter when a nurse needs to discuss something significant is very important. It is the key to successful nurse-recruiter work relations and also the foundation of trust between us. The recruiter is often a lifeline for us, nurses. Brian truly worked tirelessly to find me the contract that fit my wants/needs. It’s not often you see a recruiter listen to your “buy box” and try their best to stick to it. He is responsive and always looking out for his travelers.
Shaunna was amazing with following up and within less than 8 hours with all my questions. She understood that I did not need to have my hand held, or explained things as Ive been a traveler for a while- she advocated for me during my on boarding and all the paperwork- she is an amazing asset to have on the RN side.
TRS on the other hand during the transition of the recruiters was not transparent and did not overall make me fee valued ( first contract with TRS) - this issue had nothing to do with Shaunna as she was extremely concerned and understood my frustration and spoke to the appropriate people. Ive done 2 LONG contracts (hopefully 3) with Shaunna/TRS and she really is the best recruiter I could have asked for. :)
