It's part luck, and part his skill that Ian and I connected two years ago. I was laid off during the pandemic among hundreds of others from my old company. I had never done contract work before. Ian helped me to transition from salary to contract work extremely well. There were a couple of times that I was upset about something that I misunderstood or was confused about. Ian always responded quickly and with sincerity. He always wanted my experience to be a good one. Not only that, Ian checked up regularly and kept me informed about the status of the position. I can't think of anything Ian could have done better to make this experience better, and he represents Triple Crown consulting in the best, most positive light.

My experience as a senior engineer placed by Ian has been A+ across multiple assignments. Other recruiters seem to compromise on finding exact-match roles even when an offer results. They never succeed in the end, compared with Ian who has repeatedly succeeded. In terms of results and positive effect on my career, comparing Ian with other recruiters is so glaringly obvious that that my short-list of recruiters to recommend is only 3 letters long.
