Hourly pay range $ 30-32 /HR 

Job Responsibilities  

As an HR Investigator, your specific duties will include: 

• Investigating workplace issues/concerns raised through internal company channels by taking statements from hourly employees. 

• Preparing, tracking, and maintaining appropriate investigation documentation. 

• Managing employee data and statements in a highly confidential manner. 

• Fostering an effective, inclusive work environment and relationships, balancing employee advocacy with company goals and values. 

• Providing support to salaried personnel, as appropriate. 

• Supporting all health and safety requirements of employees, as applicable. 

• Flexibility to work split or night shifts during the week to accommodate employee availability (rare weekend work may be required).

Experience Required: 

• 5+ years conducting investigations, including interviewing, dispositioning, and case management 

• 2+ years using Microsoft Word and Excel 

Experience Preferred: 

• Experience in a manufacturing and/or unionized environment 

Education Required: 

• High School Diploma / GED 

Education Preferred: 

• Bachelor’s Degree 

Additional Safety Training/Licensing/Personal Protection Requirements: 

• As applicable to the role and plant environment 

Additional Information: 

• This is an onsite position at the Chicago Assembly Plant. 

• Candidates must be flexible with their schedule to accommodate investigations involving evening or weekend shift employees. 

• Most cases can be investigated during standard M–F hours, but occasional split or night shifts may be necessary. 

• Schedule adjustments can be coordinated with the department manager.
